The Fortune-maker
There are no fortune-tellers indeed; there are only fortune-makers actually. Have you heard about the experiment with plants? So, there were two plants and one was told that it is a great plane and the other plant was told to be the worse plant in the world. As a result the first one plant soon was in bloom and the other one fade away.
The same thing with people. In case if one hears that everything will be okay in his or her life and that he or she is smart and wise and will manage to deal any trouble – the one will manage to fulfill any task in his or her life. And in counter, when one is told that everything is bad and nothing will work, and he or she will fail – he or he will.
So, according to it we need no fortune-tellers as we are fortune-makers. We follow those words they say us, we take it to close and we bother about all that bad stuff they were talking about. We are afraid of disaster they predicted for us and the fear we have is like a huge magnet for all those troubles we would like to avoid in our life.
And the other side of the coin is a side when we forget about all those predictions and just live our common life. Things happen and once something striking has happened we soon realize that this is the event we were told about. So, we put our life on the scheme the fortune-teller suggested for us and we make him or her guru.
